oceans and glaciers in scenic layouts and dioramas, combined
with a series of textured products for landscapes and buildings.

Still
Water V-26230
A glass clear liquid which levels itself
and dries to a crystal clear film. It can be poured
directly from the bottle, and will settle in the prepared
space of the layout. For extra depth, best apply in
several layers. Ideal for ponds and lakes, canals,
bays and lagoons. Still Water is a water-based polyurethane
dispersion. When applied on a non porous surface,
like glass or clear polyesters and plastics, Still
Water can be peeled off once dry and cut into the
desired form.

Water
Effects
A range of high density gels, waterbased and transparent,
which can be applied with a brush, spatula and any other
tool to render textures of water and ice. The colors
can be mixed with one another, with Transparent Water
(Ref. 26.201), or with any other shade in the Model
Color, Game Color or Model Air range. Drying time depends
on the thickness of the application and the humidity
in the atmosphere, and varies from 45 minutes to hours
or even days if applied very thickly. Tools and working
area can be cleaned up with water.

Transparent
Water V-26201
A high density completely transparent gel, perfect for
shallow water on coloured grounds, and especially apt
for white water and cascades, glaciers. Transparent Water
can be tinted with Model Air or the Game Color Inks which
are recomended for their low viscosity and easy mixing.
Applied on a non porous surface, it can be peeled off
when dry to create waterfalls and icicles. |

Foam
& Snow V-26231
This high density white paste dries quickly
to a hard, very opaque finish. It is used to simulate
foam on waves and whitecaps and is excellent for achieving
White Water effects. Can be applied straight from the
bottle for simulating snow on trees and houses. For
large extensions of snow it is best to use a brush or
painting knife. Foam applied with a dry brush on the
ripples and peaks of the tinted gels creates the most
lifelike tracing of the froth and spume created by swirling
water.

White
Stucco V-26210
Fine ground pigment and acrylic resin, can be applied
with brush, roller or spatula, and before drying can
be textured with all sorts of utensils to give desired
patterns.

White Stone Paste
V-26211
High density medium containing marble dust and titanium
white. Dries to a white, totally opaque, stone hard
finish which can be carved and sanded. For surface building
and extra high reliefs the paste should be applied in
layers, allowing each to dry.

Fine
White Pumice V-26212
Heavy paste of fine natural pumice stone and titanium
white. For rough textures, oxide effects and surface
building. For extra high relief the paste should be
applied in layers, allowing each to dry before applying
the next.
If a more flexible paste is desired, mix with Gel Base.

Rough
Grey Pumice V-26213
Very heavy paste of natural pumice stone. For surface
building, extra high reliefs and peaks. Dries completely
opaque. For more flexibility, add some Gel Base Medium.

Lava V-26214
Gritty black paste of natural stone and pigment, can
be textured and built up and mixed with other mediums.

Sandy
Paste V-26215
A sandcolored, slightly gritty base, much more fluid
and less dense than the other stone mediums, and easily
textured for ripples and waves, dunes and desert effects.
The product is also used for rust effects. When mixed
with Gel Base, it spreads even more smoothly.

Mat
Gel Base V-26216
A heavy bodied translucent medium. Can be mixed with
all colours and mediums to improve blending and extend
drying time. An excellent base for collages, and especially
useful for mixing with sand, stones, flakes and grains
as well as any other texturing materials imaginable,
or as a base for planting trees, telephone poles, and
other diorama effects.

Extra
Heavy Gel V-26535
Extra heavy acrylic gel of highest viscosity. It is
ideal for strong surface texture and peak retention.
Dries transparent and glossy.

Acrylic paste of natural mica which dries to a rough
texture of grey flakes with silver highlights.

Red
Oxyd Paste V-26589
A rust-colored, slightly gritty base, much more fluid
and less dense than the other stone mediums and easily
textured. Can be used as a rough ground for acrylics,
oils, and pastels, and can be mixed with all other texture
products and/or thinned down with water ( 20% to 40%).
Waterbased, non toxic, cleanup with water.
